Dutchess Mall, Fishkill, NY

Commercial Exterior Renovation

This project was an exterior redesign of a 1974 mall anchor building at the first mall in Dutchess County. The existing building had a large, covered gambrel arch entry and no windows on the facades. To update and modernize the facade, the roof onto the gambrel arches was removed. This eliminated the darkness at the entry and exposed the structure of the arches and adds visual interest. To bring light into the space and make it marketable, large double height storefronts were added.
